Maria Charalambidou has over 30 years of experience. As Founding Partner and Lead Architect, she specialises in masterplanning, urban regeneration, adaptive reuse, and renovations. She integrates design vision with policy, sustainability, and market needs, leading teams and stakeholder engagement. As President of the Cyprus Planning Board, she shapes urban policy and promotes development that delivers lasting value. In 2004, she and George Paroutis received the Cyprus Architecture Award for Best Young Architects for Hadjidemetriou Residences.

George Paroutis leads commercial and strategic development at EPITESSERA, bringing over 30 years of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial architecture. Elena Parouti brings over 25 years of experience in high-end residences, bespoke housing, and premium student accommodation. She is also recognised for interior design expertise, integrating form, function, and atmosphere. Active in visual arts, sculpture, and installation, her artistic practice informs her architectural work shaping sculptural forms, bold materials, and expressive detailing. While focused on luxury and multi-residential design, she contributes across the practice’s full portfolio.

Charitini holds a BArch (Hons) and MArch from the University of Nottingham. Alongside her academic awards, she’s interned in lighting design, refurbishment, and volunteered on a South African building project. Her background in dance and classical piano informs her sense of rhythm and discipline in design. Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Suite, she is also advancing her BIM expertise. Charitini brings a thoughtful, creative approach to context-driven projects.

Stella Kitsiou studied Architecture at the Versailles School of Architecture in France and completed a postgraduate degree in Urban Restoration. Her research explored how Nicosia’s urban fabric has evolved since the city’s division, a theme that still informs her approach to design and place-making. She began her career in Paris, then returned to Cyprus to collaborate with practices in Nicosia. Since joining Epitessera Architects in 2022, she has brought a thoughtful balance of heritage awareness and forward-looking design. She values the team’s collaborative spirit and projects that connect history with contemporary life.

Kyriacos, an M.Arch graduate from the University of Cyprus, brings creative ideas, strong organisation, and a team-first attitude. His work at Strovolos Municipality’s Environmental Development department gave him insight into policy, sustainability, and urban challenges. Passionate about sports, tactics, and lifelong learning, Kyriacos helps deliver design solutions that balance innovation, regulation, and social value.
